Yours tuly has been hit by a metaphorical truck
Fever, body aches, chills, hives. Pray for me, and I'll see you soon here.

I wondered about that too
Hives along with the other symptoms sounds like it might possibly be a food allergy. Poor guy. :(

God is punishing you
for arguing with me two weeks ago..... just kidding of course. If the hives don't disappear in another 24 hours, get your derriere to a doctor asap. Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

Therefore, I knew there was a cosmic reason
why I cut my hand open this morning. I'll be careful how I respond in the future.
Anyway, I'm sorry.
Bygones?

Miraculous recovery
Yesterday, a fever of 104, chills, crippling body ache and hives...
Today, no hives, no chills, no body aches, fever of 99.5.

I did pry for you
and I hope you stay well. Did you eat anything that nobody else in your family had that could be the cause?

Whoops...
Make that "pray". Yesterday on another forum, someone asked me if English wasn' t my native language because my spelling was so poor. I said "English is my native language, but accurate typing IS a foreign language for me." ;)

You know, I had a crab cake wrapped in salmon
and my kids had hot dogs. Maybe that was it.

Might be...
Sometimes fish that is not good can do just that-cause hives and chills and a high fever.
