It's summertime, summertime,
sum sum summertime. Summertime, summertime sum sum summertime. Summertime, summertime sum sum summertime. Summertiiiiiiiiiiiiiime. That must be the reason for the low activity on here the past few days. Everyone should enjoy this wonderful time of the year outdoors, especially us Yankees up here in the north.
I just finished Screwtape and now I'm reading Brokaw's "The Greatest Generation" as best as I can with an open mind. Aren't good books great? Most of our kids don't know what they are missing.

Slowin' down
Howdy. Yeah, I am going to be slowing down some.
Therefore; what did you think of "Screwtape"? Have you read "The Great Divorce"? It is a nice compliment to "Screwtape", it comes at the topic of salvation from the opposite direction. It is also in a story format.
I have the "Greatest Generation" and have yet to read it.
I have been bouncing between several books. I am reading one book on the Burgess Shale. It was written in 1973 and re-wrote conventional views of evolution.
The other book I am reading is the "5000 year leap", which ties the "Tao" to development of free society.

I have 5000 Year Leap
Haven't started it yet, though. I've been finally reading Karl Adam's Spirit of Catholicism, a landmark of Catholic theology.
I keep meaning to read Screwtape too.

Good morning stihl
How's that moonshine back up in them there hills south of the Cuse? I enjoyed the creative mind of Lewis in Screwtape in almost every chapter. I'll take your advice on the next Lewis book after I finish The Greatest Generation. Got to go, an 8:00 tee time awaits me.
